Whilst running the lockdown archive project in the town of Aldershot, I spent a lot of time thinking about the town, the spaces that we see or don’t see, the spaces that people occupy and how that changed during covid. Using rainwater puddles as my guide around the town, I found different perspectives to photograph from the surface of the puddles. This coincided with a time of evaluation as artist and project lead for the project, which allowed me to consider my role in the project, my responsibilities and what that means when you work as an artist in the place where you live.
